Prior to Cisco, Ms. Gallo was a Senior Associate Corporate Counsel for Duff & Phelps for two years. In this capacity, she managed vendor contracts internationally, and reviewed, redlined, drafted and negotiated various complex commercial agreements. Ms. Gallo worked as an IT Contracts Attorney for Centene Corporation (formerly Fidelis Care) for four years and as a law clerk and paralegal for Cantor Fitzgerald, between 2015 and 2016.
During the early stages of her career, Ms. Gallo gained valuable expertise through an internship with the United Nations and as a corporate paralegal for Davis Polk & Wardell, LLP. Before embarking on her professional journey, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English literature with a minor in philosophy from the University of South Carolina. Subsequently, Ms. Gallo studied abroad at Lorenzo de'Medici in Florence, Italy, completed coursework in Arabic and Middle Eastern cultures at American University Dubai, and received a JD from St. John's University School of Law in Queens, New York.
In recognition of her professional achievements, Ms. Gallo has been honored many times, earning the Pro Bono Service Award for her time working with the United Nations, a Merit Scholars Award from St. John's University School of Law, and she is a Phi Beta Kappa recipient for high attainments in Liberal Scholarship at University of South Carolina. She was also on the President's and Dean's Honor lists multiple times. While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in passing the New York Bar exam and in her family – consisting of her husband Alexander Biggers, two cats, and a baby boy due in December of 2023. The cornerstone of her success lay in her strong work ethic, dedication to her goals, and the support of her family, friends and husband. Ms. Gallo intends to stay in the technology contracts field and hopes more women will continue to rise in that industry.
