As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Keyes currently serves as the vice president for student success and campus life at Dean College. Since his appointment in 2022, he has been pivotal in aligning all non-academic units, encompassing areas like student accessibility services, supplemental learning programs, academic advising, residence life, student activities & leadership development, counseling services, and career services. His role also extends to driving outcome initiatives concerning professional employment. Additionally, he oversees the campus police, NCAA athletics, and recreation programs.

Central to Mr. Keyes's role is his dedication to innovative student programming and ensuring financial and academic sustainability. With a keen eye on student recruitment and retention, he integrates engagement through athletic events and a multitude of outreach efforts to further the school's mission. He is deeply committed to accountability, transparency, and the robust use of data to ensure the success of both short and long-term programs, benefiting both the students and the institution.

Having accumulated vast experience over the years, Mr. Keyes began his professional journey in 2006 at Albertus Magnus College as the director of residential life. His trajectory then took him through roles at Endicott College, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Boston University. However, it was at Clark University where he would make a significant mark.

A lengthy tenure at Clark University began for Mr. Keyes in 2014 when he was named the director of residential life and housing. Merely a year later, in 2015, he expanded his role, taking on the responsibilities of an associate dean of students. At the same time, Mr. Keyes showcased his dedication and leadership by concurrently serving as the deputy Title IX coordinator from 2015 through 2021.

As the global pandemic impacted institutions around the world, Mr. Keyes once again rose to the challenge by taking on a critical role. From fall 2020 to January 2022, he served as the Director of COVID Testing & Operations, overseeing the university's robust testing protocols and ensuring the safety and well-being of the entire campus community during these unprecedented times.

His commitment to advancing the university's objectives was further recognized in 2021 when he transitioned to the rank of director of strategic initiatives. In this capacity, Mr. Keyes continued to bring forward-thinking strategies and leadership, thriving in the role through 2022.

With a foundational Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fitchburg State University and a subsequent Master of Public Administration from the University of New Haven, Mr. Keyes's academic pursuits have paralleled his commitment to student life. His tenure at the University of New Haven also saw him serving as the residence director between 2004 and 2006.

Mr. Keyes is widely recognized for his consistent and valuable contributions. Among his accolades are the "Student of the Year" award in 2003 and a notable nomination for the NASPA Leadership Award in 2016. During his tenure at MIT, he was twice honored with the Infinite Mile Award.

More recently, Mr. Keyes has highlighted several significant accomplishments. At Dean College, he efficiently procured a new dining services vendor, a move that underscores the institution's unwavering commitment to enhancing the student experience. Furthermore, he played a pivotal role in transitioning the Dean College football program into the MASCAC, a new competitive conference set for fall 2025, ensuring that student-athletes at Dean will have a competitive platform for years to come. Additionally, as the Director of COVID Testing and Operations at Clark University, he was instrumental in navigating the institution through the pandemic. His leadership in this capacity was indispensable, ensuring many students could safely continue their studies.

Attributing his success to discipline and a passionate drive to serve others, Mr. Keyes remains grateful for the continuous support from his wife, Ashley. As he looks forward, his aspirations are centered on expanding Dean College's enrollment and elevating the institution in areas of academic excellence, comprehensive programming, and sustained student retention.
