Established in 2007, The Cannon Affair benefits greatly from Ms. Cannon's experience and specializes in planning and coordinating events for corporations and non-profit organizations, as well as personal gatherings such as weddings, birthday parties and reunions. In addition to industry-related training, Ms. Cannon holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas. She is affiliated with the Junior League, the Zoo Friends of Houston, the Houston Ballet Guild, the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, the Houston Young Republicans and the Houston Heart Guild. Recognitions she has been honored with include the 2008 Ovation Award, an honor bestowed on dynamic young leaders who make significant charitable, philanthropic and civic contributions to Houston.
