With more than four decades of excellence in music education, Ms. Bove has earned distinction as a music volunteer with Chester County Hospital. She is also a volunteer in the Errands Room and a NICU cuddler. Prior this role, she served as a music teacher with Tredyffrin/Easttown School District from 1969 until 2012. She taught students from kindergarten to sixth grade in a broad range of subjects, including general music, chorus, band and orchestra. Added to this, she helped young students improve their reading skills during the summer by teaching in the reading and writing program at Westchester University, working specifically with second-grade students She then was a pianist for Bryn Mawr Terrace in 2013.
To prepare for her professional journey, Ms. Bove earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Iowa in 1968. Following this achievement, she attained a Master of Music Education from Temple University in 1975. She also holds a music therapy certification and an elementary certification.
Within the coming years, Ms. Bove intends to continue her volunteer work and is committed to taking harp lessons. Her passion for teaching and commitment to her students made her an exceptional teacher. She is most proud to have instilled a love of music in young minds and to haves served as a mentor to her fellow teachers, emphasizing the importance of getting to know their students and having a passion for the work.
