He was designated a Military Justice Expert in 2019, the Navy's highest litigation qualification.
Mr. Czaplak graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a minor in Russian in May 2000. Subsequently, he received a Master of Science in Engineering Management from The Catholic University of America, a JD from American University's Washington College of Law, and an MBA with a Certificate in Finance and a concentration in entrepreneurship from UCLA's Anderson School of Management. Similarly, Mr. Czaplak became licensed to practice law by the New York Supreme Court, the State Bar of California, and the Arizona Supreme Court. Mr. Czaplak is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the California Lawyers Association. Alongside his work, he contributes to his community as a business advisor for the Blue Mountain Health Cooperative.
For his service in the military, Mr. Czaplak won three Meritorious Service Medals, two Navy Commendation Medals, and two Navy Achievement Medals. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in retiring from the Navy after 20 years. The cornerstone of his overall success lies in the foundational training he received in the U.S. Navy. Looking toward the future, Mr. Czaplak intends to invest in other entrepreneurs and small business owners whose values align with his own. Likewise, he aims to use some of the profits to address the root causes of veteran homelessness.
