She also served as the comptroller and human resources manager for Delaton Service Corporation from 2014 to 2018; a senior accountant and certified public bookkeeper for AMS Accounting LLC, AMS Payroll and AMS TaxPros LLC from 1995 to 2016; a software trainer for EPI from 1998 to 1999; a Centrex coordinator and trainer for MCI WorldCom from 1997 to 1998; and a telecommunications coordinator and trainer for Transamerica Life Companies from 1996 to 1997. She commenced her career as an accounting supervisor for Arthur Anderson/MWEDS JV from 1993 to 1996.
Invested in various civic interests, Dr. Bennett has been a small business advocate for the National Small Business Association Leadership Council since 2017. She is also a former volunteer for CASA of Troup County. She spent 10 years in community development through a charitable organization in Nairobi, Kenya, helping to provide access to water and education and teaching various livelihoods such as planting, gardening and raising animals for pasture. Since 2008, she has been the owner, founder, executive director and senior pastor of PJ Ministries International Corp., a global ministry formed as an online church helping national and international ministries in mission-related projects. She is lauded for teaching, preaching and sharing the Gospel with religious practitioners seeking knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Dr. Bennett has held an associate degree in general business from Maplewoods Community College since 1993 and two Bachelor of Science degrees in marketing/management and in finance/management from Park University since 1994, graduating cum laude. She also received certifications in business supervision and public bookkeeping, as well as a financial credit specialist and QuickBooks Pro advisor. Dr. Bennett remains abreast of developments in her industry as a member and financial educator of the Association of Financial Educators and as a member of the American Federation of Education, the Small Business Administration, Eliances and the International Society of Female Professionals.
In recognition of her accomplishments, American Bible University honored Dr. Bennett with an Honorary Doctor of Divinity in 2012. She was also featured in Authority Magazine among the Women in Leadership and Financial Leadership in 2023, and The NYC Journal featured her as a leading business figure in 2023.
