A skilled and experienced financial professional with more than five decades of excellence in finance, manufacturing and production, Mr. Roberts has earned distinction as the managing director for Asphalts Systems, Inc. Since 2015, he has focused his efforts on handling the company's legal matters, including contracts, international agreements and lifecycle assessments. Additionally, he has served on the boards for the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, The Milwaukee Art Museum, The Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, World Festivals, Inc (Summerfest), St. Joseph Hospital, and the Institute for Environmental Research and Education.
Before his present role, Mr. Roberts worked with Harris Bank starting in 1966 and was General Manager of their New York Edge Act Corporation and London Branch, where he served as President of the American Society in London, and was the head of corporate finance for Kemper Securities. Following this time, he served as CEO of Perpetual Midwest Financial, Inc and CEO of Covest Bancshares. He has also served on the board for Sterling Capital Funds. Added to this, he lent his expertise to the University of Iowa School of Business and was a chairman for Future Value Ventures, the only MESBIC in Wisconsin. He was active in United Way efforts, serving as a Board Member for Milwaukee United Way and for United Way of Eastern Iowa. He served as an Annual Campaign Chairman for both Boards.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Roberts earned a bachelor's degree in business economics from Indiana University in 1964. Following this achievement, he attained a Master of Business Administration in international business from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Institute for International Business in 1966.
