Associated with Pester Pac Automation GmbH for over 15 years, Mr. Braun joined the machinery manufacturing company in 2007 as a regional manager. Promoted to serve as the vice president of sales and marketing in 2015, he spent the next few years excelling in his role. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Braun transitioned into vice president at Pester Pac Automation USA Inc. in 2019, overseeing the financial aspects, service operations, and other routine functions. He also manages over 35 U.S. employees and approximately 1,000 more globally and is directly involved in ensuring their outside sales team has the tools they need to succeed in their roles.
Recognized as a specialized end-of-line packaging equipment supplier, Pester Pac designs and builds packaging equipment specifically for companies in the consumer, pharmaceutical, and biopharmaceutical sectors.

Eager about the company's future, he anticipates continued growth and expansion by erecting another facility on its property and implementing a local, in-house technical group to complete customer equipment on site. Previously, Mr. Braun garnered success, serving an instrumental role in relocating Pester Pac's original location from New Jersey to North Carolina after the completion of a new facility in 2020. The project was beneficial in establishing a more flexible, modernized work environment and schedules for its many employees.
Active in his community, Mr. Braun gives back his time as a member of the Lake Norman Economic Development. He also volunteers at several area institutions.
Mr. Braun studied at Arizona State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Management in 2005. He is active in his professional community as a member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering.
Grateful for his professional accomplishments, Mr. Braun notes several mentors who have taught and inspired him, Thomas Pester - CEO, Norbert Rechner - Global VP, and Rainer Lengl - Director. He has also earned the company's trust, which has been crucial. Moreover, Mr. Braun would not be where he is today if it were not for his wife, who agreed to relocate to North Carolina to support his career.
