SAN GABRIEL, CA, January 05, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael A. Cervantes, retired elementary school educator from the El Rancho Unified School District, has been selected for a feature in the Fourteenth Edition of Marquis Millennium Magazine. Released triannually, Millennium Magazine features the narrative biographies of the world's most esteemed and accomplished professionals. The publication is available exclusively to Marquis listees, and inclusion is by invitation only.
Joining the El Rancho Unified School District in 1979, Michael A. Cervantes served the school system for an impressive 31 years in several roles. During his tenure, he was a teacher of Spanish as a second language for the Gifted and Talented Education Program, an elementary school educator and a chairman. To this end, he helped the school system develop its bilingual and bicultural programs. Currently, he sits on the planning task force of the school district, as well as serves as the vice president of the El Rancho Federation of Teachers. Earlier in his career, Mr. Cervantes was a teacher at Valle Lindo School District, where he taught third and fifth grade students and was a bilingual teacher.
