Mr. North is an information technology professional and entrepreneur celebrating nearly two decades of success in his field. He began his career as a student at Furman University, which awarded him a Bachelor of Science in computer science and mathematics in 2002. As an established professional, Mr. North has continued to pursue industry credentials and continuing education opportunities, including Cisco CCNA certification and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) designation. Most recently, he completed VMware's Cloud Masters training and subsequently became a VMware Certified Professional in Sept 2020.
Between 2004 and 2011, Mr. North built his skills as a technology professional working as a senior network administrator for Global Aviation Holdings. He departed the company to accept an internal systems administrator role for Global Net Access, where he would remain for a year before becoming an IT manager for Cummins Power South. In 2014, Mr. North joined children's products manufacturer Carter's/OshKosh B'gosh as a senior systems engineer, rising to become manager of computing and platform services for the company the following year. He continued to earn a professional reputation for his leadership and problem-solving skills, in addition to his technical mastery, and after briefly working with Sterling Talent Solutions as a systems engineer, Mr. North was named director of corporate infrastructure at Performive, a position he held from 2018 until 2021.
As an established professional, Mr. North found himself torn between continuing to pursue technical roles and allowing himself to transition fully into management, leading him to launch N3 Services in 2022, an IT strategy and consulting firm specializing in small business clients. In the company's infancy, Mr. North worked concurrently as a senior infrastructure manager for RaceTrac, stepping down from the company in 2023 to focus on his goals with N3 Services. N3 Services offers clients a full range of enterprise solutions, including data management and security, site networking, and collaboration and office management software, in addition to general consulting.
Mr. North credits his success to his ability to lead and build strong relationships with colleagues, employees, and clients, and he looks forward to taking on a more active mentor role as N3 Services continues to grow.
