Specializing in providing essential support for clinical operations, including project management, medical monitoring, regulatory submissions and a free standing first in human clinical unit; his organization strives to offer a smooth transition from pre-clinical to human trials for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and device companies.
Devoting his career to prioritizing the safety and wellness of patients with a focus on diversity and inclusion, Mr. Mohammed also focuses on delivering extraordinary service to clients by maintaining high standards with each interaction. Before launching his CRO, Mr. Mohammed found success as a clinical operations consultant, consulting with several global and mid-sized global contract research organizations in Friendswood, Texas, from 2012 to 2013. He was also a senior clinical research associate and acting clinical trial manager for the global CRO, PRA Health Sciences, between 2003 and 2012.
Through Tranquil Clinical Research and Consulting Services, Mr. Mohammed is committed to giving back by sponsoring local cancer events and contributing resources to support various community initiatives, including food banks, feeding the homeless campaigns, backpack organizations, medical institutions, and cancer-focused organizations. His organization is also affiliated with an outreach organization called Manos Abiertas (Open Hands). Among other local involvement, Mr. Mohammed is a board member for a KG to 12th grade private school, Iman Academy. He formerly served as the vice president of the board of the Islamic Society of Central Virginia in Charlottesville, VA and as a former vice president of his homeowners' association.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Mohammed graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in philosophy from the University of Saint Thomas in Houston in 2000. He also received credentials as an emergency medical technician-intermediate at age 18, becoming one of Texas's youngest medics to lead a 911 EMS unit. Mr. Mohammad remains abreast in his industry as a member of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization, Houston BIO and Diversity Alliance for Science.
