With more than two decades of combined excellence in law and creative writing, Mr. Mosson has earned distinction as an attorney at law with his own firm, Mosson Law, LLC, especially in the field of employment law. Among his professional accomplishments, Mr. Mosson has been a multiple-time Rising Star in plaintiff's employment law recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine from 2017 through 2022. He has conducted complex trials in state and federal court in Maryland. At his own firm since 2018, Mr. Mosson has focused his efforts on handling each aspect of his clients' cases in civil and employment disputes in and out of court, providing a comprehensive level of representation that guarantees each client receives thorough and knowledgeable legal assistance and strategic advice.

Mr. Mosson began his career as a writer for Information Inc. in 2000, where he wrote and later edited newsletters across four years. During this decade, he also began to teach writing. Mr. Mosson served as teaching fellow and lecturer at The Johns Hopkins University Writing Seminars from 2003 to 2005, seventh-grade school teacher for a year as a Baltimore Teaching Resident in Baltimore City from 2007 to 2008, and adjunct instructor in remedial academic writing the following year at the Art Institute of Washington.

At the University of Baltimore School of Law, Mr. Mosson was an associate comments editor and staff editor of the Law Review. He also served as summer judicial intern for The Honorable Duncan W. Keir of the Baltimore Division of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland in 2010, and summer law associate for the Baltimore City Law Department in 2011, a litigation fellow for the University of Baltimore School of Law's Snyder Center for Litigation, research assistant in constitutional administrative law for professor Kimberely Wehle at the University of Baltimore School of Law, law scholar for contract and civil procedure classes, and graduated summa cum laude.

Mr. Mosson has continued to teach and publish as a practicing lawyer, including as a member of the college writing adjunct faculty for the University of Baltimore, and then as an adjunct professor of law for an introduction to persuasive legal writing course for two semesters at the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2019 and 2020. In Fall 2022, he taught introduction to legal writing for Goucher College in Baltimore County, Maryland. Additionally, Mr. Mosson served for several years as an editorial board member for the Maryland Trial Reporter, the statewide publication for the Maryland Association of Justice, where he edited as well as wrote articles across civil fields of law. He also authored a well-received handbook for the general public, Employee Rights in Maryland: A Guide to Knowing and Protecting Your Rights (Advantage Books 2021).

Mr. Mosson's legal scholarship, which is in the field of mortgage law and related civil procedure, was published in 2012: "Robosigning Foreclosures: How It Violates Law, Must Be Stopped, and Why Mortgage Law Reform is Needed to Ensure the Certainty and Values of Real Property" published in the Western State University Law Review, and "Comment: Equitable Subrogation in Maryland Mortgages and the Restatement of Property: A Historical Analysis for Contemporary Solutions," published in the University of Baltimore Law Review.

Also skilled in creative writing, he has authored five books of poetry, including "Season of Flowers and Dust," which was published in 2008 by Goose River Press, and edited "Poems Against War: Bending Toward Justice," published by Wasteland Press in 2010.

To prepare for his professional journey, Mr. Mosson earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Portland State University in 2000 and a master's degree in creative writing from The Johns Hopkins University Writing Seminars in 2004. Following these achievements, he attained a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2012, summa cum laude, and a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from New England College in 2023. Well-qualified in his field, he has been admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland in addition to Maryland's state court system. Mr. Mosson possesses certifications as a mediator and best interest attorney in Maryland.

Within the coming years, Mr. Mosson intends to extend his practice further in the civil field, including wills and probate, as well as possibly teach again.
