Mr. Miller has been a senior technology and business development director with Orlando Informer Travel in Orlando, Florida, since 2022. Affiliated with the organization for several years, he was initially appointed as the director of operations in 2019. Before transitioning into his new role, he was involved in the organization's technical, operational, and creative divisions. As part of his ongoing responsibilities today, Mr. Miller facilitates information regarding theme parks, negotiates agreements with various industry-related entities, and executes contracts to assume control of resorts for exclusive private event sales.
Recruited from Universal Destinations & Experiences in Osaka, Japan, Mr. Miller was the manager of global enterprise technology from 2017 to 2019. Hailing from Universal's Orlando location, he continually progressed from a technology intern in 2011 to a technology project manager, assistant program manager of strategic innovation and emerging technology, manager of strategic innovation and emerging technology, and international program manager.
Contributory to his success, Mr. Miller has helped deliver iconic attractions all around the world, including Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, an augmented reality dark ride that has become recognized as a main attraction of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan and Universal Studios Hollywood. Another version is being constructed at Universal Epic Universe, an upcoming amusement park in Orlando. The ride notably offers an immersive experience and has been highly acclaimed by Super Mario fans.
Besides his work in Orlando, Mr. Miller is the upcoming author of his first book about his journey, trials, and triumphs. He also currently speaks publicly about landing his dream career at Universities all across the nation.
Adamant about the importance of giving back, Mr. Miller has been serving on the advisory council for The Leadership Crucible Foundation since 2023. Additionally, he has been a technology advocate for the Career Opportunities and Rotational Experiences Technology Program at NBCUniversal Media LLC since 2014 and as a mentor team leader for Universal Parks, F.I.R.S.T Robotics. Mr. Miller previously served as a board member and alumni trustee for the Odyssey of the Mind, Florida Odyssey State Board, from 2012 to 2017.
Mr. Miller graduated from Gulf Coast State College with an Associate of Arts in general education with a focus on mechanical engineering. He subsequently received a Bachelor of Science in interpersonal organizational communication from the University of Central Florida, a Bachelor of Science in information engineering technology from the University of West Florida, and a Master of Science in information technology project management from Colorado Technical University. Additionally, Mr. Miller completed credentials in technology systems support from the University of West Florida, an executive Master of Business Administration in servant leadership and organizational leadership from The John Maxwell Company, and a designation in ITIL Foundations through Global Knowledge.
In honor of his success, Mr. Miller received a First Quarter 2013 Excellence in Leadership Award and a Parks Technology Summit Award from Universal Destinations & Experiences in 2014 and 2018, respectively. He was also featured in The New York Journal in 2023 within its 40 Under 40 list.
