Since becoming involved with the company in 2015, he has been responsible for overseeing its 50 realtors and administrative employees in two locations, while also managing more than 1,000 rental properties for investors and landlords. Mr. Haghkar's diverse skillset includes recruitment and training of new agents, investing in and developing new properties, and handling ground-up construction and property rehabilitation projects.
Well regarded for his contributions to the field, Mr. Haghkar's company has achieved significant milestones, including recognition as a Top 5% earner in all of Multiple Listing Service (MLS) in 2022. Additionally, his leadership and achievements have been recognized with a 40 Under 40 award from Drexel University, and Philadelphia Magazine featured RE/MAX Plus as one of the Top 25 Real Estate Brokerages in 2023. Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Haghkar earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering and Civil Engineering from Drexel University in 2009. Adjacent to his real estate career, he had a successful engineering career from 2006 to 2016, serving as a Project Manager with Urban Engineers, Inc.
In anticipation of the future, Mr. Haghkar is strategically directing his efforts towards the expansion of RE/MAX Plus and its property management sector. His vision involves doubling the company's workforce and the properties under its management. Additionally, he aims to elevate his personal real estate portfolio from its current 80 units to a more significant scale.
Outside of work, Mr. Haghkar and his spouse are parents to a 2-year-old daughter, with a second child on the way. He enjoys serving his community through various volunteer activities, including eClose Network, Toys for Tots, food drives, the Special Forces Foundation, and Wills Eye Hospital Glaucoma Research. He is active with the Engineers' Club of Philadelphia, the Young Managers Forum, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Association of REALTORS, the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors, and Tri County Suburban Realtors.
