She also held the title of director of research at Kroll Associates, a leading independent provider of risk and financial advisory solutions, in Chicago, where she worked from 2000 to 2006. During an earlier career stage, Ms. Gaspari was an investigative and financial journalist for the investigative unit at the Sunday Times in Johannesburg, South Africa, between 1996 and 2000. In this capacity, she conducted investigations into environmental and governmental issues.
Ms. Gaspari has been active in her community by supporting Minerva West, a community theater in Ridgway. Previously, she was the Friends of Ridgway Schools treasurer and a Horse and Human Rescue volunteer.
Ms. Gaspari received a National Diploma in journalism from Durban University of Technology in South Africa. She also garnered a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration in accounting from Dominican University. Furthermore, Ms. Gaspari received credentials as a licensed private detective through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and as a certified fraud examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
Continually committed to her industry, Ms. Gaspari is active as a member of the Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado, the Council of International Investigators, the ACFE, and the National Council of Investigation and Security Services.
