A widely respected business executive, Mr. Radwell was the president of Bookspan/Bertelsmann Marketing and Editorial Group from 1998 to 2005 and the executive vice president of e-Scholastic & Scholastic At Home between 2005 and 2008. From 2008-2018 he led Guthy-Renker, a foremost direct marketing company, first as a chief marketing officer, and then as president and chief revenue officer; he also served as the CEO of The Proactiv Company, a leading skincare brand for acne.
As an expert in consumer brands and direct and digital marketing, Mr. Radwell has spoken numerous times at professional conferences. He has also served on multiple boards, including the board of trustees for the Direct Marketing Education Foundation and as a board member for Carpe, Business for America, and DMA. Moreover, Mr. Radwell has lent his expertise as an advisory member for Rank the Vote and Represent Us and as a volunteer for various nonprofit organizations and initiatives that support students.
Among other involvement, Mr. Radwell initiated the Next Generation Leaders program in 2008, which focused on having big brand companies hire interns and business school students to work on various marketing projects and garner experience in the field. Today, he is focused on speaking publicly and working on behalf of nonpartisan election reform, democracy, and civic responsibility. Mr. Radwell received a Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts from Columbia University in 1985 and a Master of Public Policy in economics from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government in 1989.
