Recognized for her contributions, LinkedIn has awarded her Top Voice in 10 categories ranging from Program Management, Cross-Functional Leadership, and Change Management to Senior Stakeholder Relations.
Ms. Vajda is a member of Austin Women in Technology, a nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating a community of women interested in technology, and Agile Austin. She is an Advisory Board Member with The Capella University. She often offers her time speaking at summits, offering free classes, and mentoring others. She sees herself as an opportunity seeker for problem-solving and setting an example of how we can be better together.
Ms. Vajda started her career in quality assurance, and almost immediately was promoted to a project lead position. She then served as the manager of program management for Blackbaud, a position she held for nearly a decade. Thereafter, she joined Social Solutions in 2017 as the director of the agile program management office (PMO), overseeing private-equity backed venture capital software as a service technology. Ms. Vajda built and seamlessly executed a structured program that earned the Social Solutions 2021 Best Onboarding Program award. She stepped into the role of vice president of PMO, and continued to oversee enterprise product development, and led key strategic executive cross-functional projects and integration strategies when Social Solutions was acquired, resulting in a near $2B merger resulting in Bonterra Tech.
In reflecting on the highlights of her career to date, she cites her most significant accomplishment as transforming the mindset of an organization by implementing a strategy to create and achieve a positive coaching culture. Witnessing the innovative techniques, camaraderie, and the positive impact on employee engagement and retention that resulted from her strategies was both exciting and rewarding for her.
In all she has pursued and achieved, Ms. Vajda credits her success to her unwavering perseverance and her belief in the importance of honoring herself. Along with being a certified Objectives and Key Results professional and Scrum Master, Ms. Vajda earned a SAFe® Agilist Certification and Generative AI Certification, among countless others. Coupled with her certifications, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In the next five to ten years, Ms. Vajda aims to lead a comfortable life and establish a business with a global reach.
