Since she was a child, Dr. Danaj has fulfilled the role of caregiver. After her mother almost died, she cared for her newborn brother and did so until his adult life. Driven to pursue a career in service to others, she received a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Houston, Clear Lake, before joining Goodwin Biotechnology, Inc. as a project manager. In this capacity, she managed numerous projects involving cell culture, bioreactor production, purification, aseptic filling, and quality control testing of monoclonal antibodies and other biological products. Likewise, she handled the international contract for GBI, the largest contract in the organization's history at that time. Over the years, Dr. Danaj expanded her professional knowledge, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University, and working as a DNA research associate for the University of Miami and Cygene Laboratories. During her baccalaureate studies, she also honed her nursing expertise in the different units, starting her nursing career at Holy Cross Hospital.
In the ensuing years, Dr. Danaj gained valuable expertise in nursing through multiple agencies and healthcare facilities such as Cross Country TravCorps, BRRH, Broward Health Coral Springs, and HealthTrust Workforce Solutions. Similarly, she furthered her studies, completing a Master of Science in adult-gerontology acute care nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Nova Southeastern University in 2018 and 2023. A seasoned, multi-lingual nurse practitioner with more than two decades of experience, Dr. Danaj excels as an adjunct professor and clinical instructor at Nova Southeastern University, in addition to practicing an advanced practice nurse for ACD Health. In her role with ACD Health, she provides on-site cardiac testing and non-invasive diagnostic cardiovascular screening assessments for first responders. Alongside her work with Nova Southeastern and ACD Health, Dr. Danaj is an acute care nurse practitioner through locum assignments in different states.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Danaj aligns herself with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the American Nurses Association, the Florida Nurse Practitioners Network, and local Florida Organization of Nurse Practitioners. While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in her dedication to the nursing industry and obtaining the highest degree in nursing practice, a Doctor of Nursing Practice. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, she credits her success to those who inspired and mentored her, including her two beautiful children.
