Highly educated, Ms. Morton obtained a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Stanislaus, and a Master of Arts from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she also received a teaching credential to teach within the public school sector.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Morton has been actively involved in community service through her role as a Public Relations board member with Las Alas, an auxiliary of the Assistance League of Arcadia, and a volunteer with The Guild. Her commitment to making a difference demonstrates her desire to enrich the lives of others through service. Looking ahead, Ms. Morton is excited about dedicating more time to volunteerism and various hobbies.

In light of her success in the classroom, Ms. Morton received a Teacher of the Month Award from the Rotary Club of Arcadia in 2013. She was also recognized with a Profiles in Excellence Award for 2003-2004 from Longley Way Elementary School in Arcadia, CA.
