SEATTLE, WA, June 27, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sylvia Miller has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Drawing on years of professional experience in law, Ms. Miller excels as an attorney in an eponymous law firm, through which she specializes in immigration and naturalization matters. By leveraging her considerable expertise, she provides her customers with sound legal advice regarding permanent resident applications, self-petitions for victims of domestic violence, petitions for removal of conditions on residence, applications for deferred action for childhood arrivals, applications for waivers, immigrant visa processing, and U.S. citizenship. Previously, she gained valuable expertise as an attorney with Choquette Law Group, specializing in business and family-based immigration, and as a clerk for the Honorable Bruce Hilyer of the King County Superior Court. Over the years, Ms. Miller also handled worker's compensation claims for the city of Seattle and the state.

Before starting her professional journey, Ms. Miller earned a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American studies from the University of Washington's Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies. Subsequently, she expanded her expertise, completing a JD at Seattle University's School of Law. Driven to remain abreast of changes in her field, she aligns herself with the Washington State Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. While attending law school, Ms. Miller was the chapter president of Seattle University's chapter of Amnesty International and was the founding co-director of the school's Center for Human Rights and Justice. Additionally, she provides her expertise to one or two pro-bono cases a year.

Ms. Miller has been honored many times in light of her considerable achievements. In addition to graduating Magna Cum Laude from Seattle University School of Law, she was inducted into Phi Delta Phi and received the CALI Award. While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in the difference she has made in the lives of her clients. Due to her dedication, hundreds of her clients have received green cards (permanent residence), U.S. citizenship, or DACA status, including many who were victims of domestic violence.

Though hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, Ms. Miller credits her success to her education and to her supportive friends and family. Looking ahead, she intends to experience her career's continued growth and success. Ultimately, Ms. Miller aims to provide quality representation for many more years to immigrants who seek permanent residence or U.S. citizenship through affirmative applications.
