Leading a diverse, rewarding career in law, real estate, and higher education, Mr. Williams initially began practicing law as the president of VMW Law PC in 2004, a general practice law firm specializing in such areas as real estate, bankruptcy, foreclosures, criminal defense, civil litigation, and immigration. Two years later, he ventured into real estate as the owner/broker of his boutique agency, The Williams Firm, also in New York City. Relying on his decades of litigation and transactional experience to help corporations and entrepreneurs navigate legal and functional issues, Mr. Williams also offers services to help individuals and entities minimize risk and optimize opportunities in business ventures.

As an attorney, Mr. Williams enjoys helping people overcome complex legal challenges that significantly impact their lives, families, and businesses. Over the past year, he has notably established divisions in the Caribbean, Guyana, and Trinidad, with plans of scaling further. 

In addition to his commitments in law and real estate, Mr. Williams joined the Zicklin School of Business, department of international business, at Baruch College in 2022 as an adjunct professor. He notes that the most fulfilling aspect of his role is sharing his real-world experience with his students and future leaders, deriving inspiration from his earlier years, where he taught science and creative arts and wrote several plays that allowed him to develop a broader appreciation for the field. Mr. Williams also spent several years in journalism, during which time he notably pioneered a television newscast in Berbice with a group of volunteers.

Mr. Williams immigrated to the U.S. from his native Guyana, South America, in 2002. He possesses a rich educational background, beginning with an undergraduate degree from the University of Guyana. He has since obtained several additional degrees, including a Master of Laws in global antitrust law and economics from George Mason University, a Master of Laws in intellectual property and media law from the Cardozo School of Law, a Master of Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University, and a Master of Business Administration from TRIUM, a top-ranked global program through the New York University, London School of Economics and Political Science, and HEC in Paris. Additionally, Mr. Williams obtained a Doctor of Business Administration from Baruch College.

To remain abreast in his field, Mr. Williams is a member of the International Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the New York City Bar Association.
