COLUMBUS, OHIO, January 23, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert E. Lee III has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Lee has established himself as a prominent figure in the hospitality and leadership sectors. Since 2018, he has served as an independent certified coach, teacher, trainer, and speaker with Maxwell Leadership. In this role, Mr. Lee has leveraged his extensive experience to mentor emerging leaders and foster professional growth via coaching, speaking, masterminding and leadership assessments.

In addition to his work with Maxwell Leadership, Mr. Lee has found success as the founder and president of Touchstone Hospitality LLC since 2009 and the principal of Touchstone Hospitality IV LLC as a Donatos franchise partner since 2013.

Mr. Lee's entrepreneurial spirit was evident early on. In 2004, he co-founded Philippi Group LLC, where he remained until 2009. Earlier, he was an operating partner at Brownstone on Main from 2003 to 2004. Besides these ventures, Mr. Lee made history as the general manager of the Capital Club in Columbus between 2004 and 2007, becoming the first person of color to manage a private club in the city.

Having begun his career in the hospitality sector in 1994, Mr. Lee initially worked for the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Columbus as a housekeeping manager before transitioning to sales manager from 1997 to 1999. He then became the organization's food and beverage director between 1999 and 2001. Mr. Lee's expertise in hotel management was further demonstrated during his tenure as the general manager of The Lofts Hotel from 2001 to 2003.

Aside from his many years dedicated to the field, Mr. Lee accepted an opportunity to teach as an adjunct instructor at Columbus State Community College. He shared his knowledge and expertise with students from 2000 to 2003.

Mr. Lee's educational background includes studies in hospitality management at Columbus State Community College and Franklin University. In 2017, he earned certification as a John Maxwell coach, speaker, and trainer, significantly contributing to his leadership development success.

A dedicated member of several industry-related organizations, Mr. Lee is affiliated with the Ohio Restaurant Association and the Ohio Restaurant and Hospitality Alliance. He is also a member of 100 Black Men of Central Ohio, reflecting his commitment to community engagement and mentorship. Mr. Lee's civic involvement has included serving as the vice chair for the Columbus Alliance within the Ohio Restaurant and Hospitality Alliance since 2015 and on the board of directors for the Jazz Arts Group since 2016.

Mr. Lee is excited about future opportunities with the Columbus Regional Airport Authority's new airport project. He plans to submit bids to establish multiple Preston's locations within the latest airport and pursue additional ventures with Donatos and Preston's. Furthermore, Mr. Lee aims to expand his partnership with Tim Hortons and explore hotel management contracts through Touchstone Hospitality.
