Additionally, Mr. Loyd garnered success and satisfaction in the classroom as an affiliate professor of finance at the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington from 1993 to 2003, where he influenced many students with his expertise in finance.

Mr. Loyd's career is marked by significant achievements, including his successful rezoning of downtown Seattle in the 1970s, which led to the acquisition and renovation of over 10 city blocks.
