Mr. Marshall is an expert in aviation maintenance and aircraft interfaces who has dedicated over 35 years to his career at American Airlines. Since 2020, he has been the principal engineer for tooling engineering in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He specifies new equipment and tooling for various requirements, evaluates proposed design revisions, and works closely with customers. Mr. Marshall also assigns engineers to address new requests, manages his team, works on various projects, and oversees the production of items outside the company and the procurement of supplies from multiple vendors.

Affiliated with the airline company for his entire professional career, Mr. Marshall was a senior manager of maintenance operations, support engineering, and test equipment engineering from 2014 to 2020. He demonstrated exceptional management skills in this capacity by efficiently leading a team responsible for managing procurement and aircraft tooling across 150 locations. Despite working with fewer resources, Mr. Marshall successfully built and managed a highly effective team. His responsibilities extended beyond engineering, managing the resources necessary to keep the airline running smoothly and the airplanes in service. Additionally, he took on special assignments, such as overseeing the transportation of an NV 80 aircraft to the Baker Aviation School in Miami. Mr. Marshall's innovative equipment design and process for lifting the aircraft over the highway garnered significant attention and was featured in the news.From 2012 to 2014, Mr. Marshall was the lead engineer for entry into service engineering in Tulsa. He was also a senior engineer between 2010 and 2012. His earlier roles included manager of line tooling and GSE, fueling engineering and deicing engineering, lead engineer for line tooling and GSE, aircraft handling and recovery, line tooling engineer, and tooling engineer, dating back to 1986. Mr. Marshall has been recognized throughout his career for his expertise in aviation maintenance and aircraft interfaces.

Mr. Marshall's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and technology from Oklahoma State University in 1986. While in college, he became active in Tau Alpha Pi, an honor society for engineering technology students.

Mr. Marshall's career is marked by dedication, innovation, and leadership within American Airlines. His contributions have left an indelible mark on the industry, showcasing his problem-solving abilities and commitment to excellence. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Mr. Marshall received the American Airlines President's Award in 2017.
