Throughout his decade-long tenure with TotalEnergies, Mr. Dal has held several key managerial positions in France. He was the area exploration manager for the MSGBC Basin, after serving as Geology Specialties Manager and Head of the Platform for Innovative Technologies in Geology. Previously, other roles with TotalEnergies include exploration manager in Congo and Indonesia, and Head of Geology in Algeria. Mr. Dal began his career as a geologist in Angola, USA, UAE and UK. His significant industry achievements have earned him respect and admiration in the field.

Mr Dal's academic journey is a testament to his commitment to continuous learning and professional development. He holds a master's degree in geology from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie, a Master of Science in earth sciences from the University of Nancy-Lorraine, and a master's degree in petroleum geology from IFP school. His studies in applied generative AI for digital transition at MIT furthered his professional knowledge and expertise.

While his career has been filed with highlights, Mr. Dal takes the most pride in serving as an area exploration manager during the campaign in Suriname in 2021 and 2022.
