Her responsibilities include ensuring accurate paperwork submission, assisting with health department applications, and coordinating with architects and construction teams to meet all regulatory requirements. Ms. Nardo's work spans various states, reflecting her adaptability and comprehensive understanding of diverse licensing standards.

Before Celebree School, Ms. Nardo was a safety manager at Child Development Schools. In this capacity, she focused on implementing safety protocols and conducting assessments to ensure the well-being of children, staff and families. Ms. Nardo also served as a field safety auditor at Learning Care Group, where she conducted thorough evaluations of childcare centers to uphold safety standards.

Ms. Nardo's career also included her tenure as a senior health and safety representative at KinderCare Education. Her earlier experience as a general manager at The Goddard School in Maryland saw her implement curriculum, maintain quality assurance, and manage student retention, revenue targets and expenses. Ms. Nardo's journey began at Stonewall Daycare Center and Childtime, where she honed her skills in early childhood education.

Highly educated, Ms. Nardo holds an associate degree in teacher education from Harford Community College since 1992, a bachelor's degree in liberal arts with a focus in education from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland in 2002, and a Master of Arts in adult education and training from the University of Phoenix in 2015.

Ms. Nardo is an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. She has also shared her expertise as a guest speaker on the podcast The Compliance Alliance Blog, contributing articles on compliance and presenting on standard operating procedures. Her passion for education extends beyond writing by hosting an education podcast that delves into various aspects of compliance and safety. Civically, Ms. Nardo has served as the fundraising co-chair for the Kiwanis Club since 2024.

Throughout her career in workplace safety, Ms. Nardo's efforts led to numerous licensing training in person and virtually, where she mentored many individuals for personal development. In 2010, she was notably recognized by The Goddard School as Director of the Year for her exceptional leadership and dedication. Ms. Nardo attributes her success in safety to Toni O'Grady, former director of safety & security.
