She currently serves as a psychiatric nurse practitioner at The Hospital for Behavioral Medicine and Advanced Psych Services, a position she has held since 2022 and 2023, respectively.

In this role, Ms. Tweneboa manages the schizophrenic unit and provides vital care for patients experiencing psychosis. She also works in a detox environment to prepare patients for transition into community programs for further support. Additionally, she works with elderly individuals dealing with issues ranging from depression to psychosis and stabilizes before referring them to other programs.

From 2022 to 2023, Ms. Tweneboa was the clinical director at Summit Academy Schools, working with kids on the autism spectrum. She also assisted them with counseling and medication administration. Before this, she spent a lengthy tenure at Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital from 2007 to 2019, where she worked as a staff nurse and case manager and played a pivotal role in assessing individuals and determining appropriate care plans.

Ms. Tweneboa's career also includes serving as a nurse reviewer and case manager at the University of Massachusetts, where she handled Medicaid authorizations and worked with patients transitioning from nursing homes to group homes or other community setting. She served as a care manager at Tuft Health Plan from 2013 to 2020 and an instructor at Salter College from 2012 to 2019, successfully educating medical assistants where she encouraged the student to further their education, leading some to become current nurses.

Ms. Tweneboa's academic achievements have been instrumental in her success. She holds a master's degree as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Walden University, earned in 2022, completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Framingham State University in 2011 and obtained an Associate Degree in Nursing from Quinsigamond Community College in 2007. To expand her knowledge, she is currently pursuing a doctorate in nursing. Her certifications include being a registered nurse (RN) and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), both of which have further solidified her expertise.

In accounting for her blessings and success, Ms. Tweneboa acknowledges the unwavering support of her husband and family, her faith in God and being grateful for each day she receives. Beyond her professional life, she is actively involved in her community as a volunteer and teaches individuals the benefit of reading the Bible.
