SAN DIEGO, CA, February 11, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Christopher John Fromm with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Christopher John Fromm celebrates many years' experience in his professional network and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
As a youth, Mr. Fromm faced a challenging medical condition: a tumor in his chest. The care he received from the pediatric oncology team at the University of California Davis Medical Center, along with facing a life-death condition at 13, focused Mr. Fromm on what lasts beyond our short existence on this earth: faith, family and others. Inspired by his experience, he decided to pursue a medical research career to offer others the same hope and support he received throughout his journey. While working as a biological media laboratory manager and research assistant with the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine, Mr. Fromm pursued a Bachelor of Science in psychobiology with a minor in English at the same institution. During that time he also started an outreach in his home town to area youth: Holy Grounds Concerts, and served others at his campus volunteering with Cru, the Veritas Forum and the Campus Light.
While graduating from UCLA in 2004-2005, Mr. Fromm was ordained as a minister with North Valley Calvary Chapel for his ongoing work with Holy Grounds, and joined Cru/Vida Estudiantil as a full-time staff intern. He coached and pioneered student-led clubs in several campuses in Los Angeles and Mexico City. After this internship ended, his medical research career began as a junior clinical research associate for Chiltern International. Subsequently, he expanded his professional knowledge, becoming a certified clinical research associate through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and a clinical research associate for Chiltern before transferring his skill set to Quintiles functional service team with Amgen. Before starting his first company, he held senior associate positions with Aerotek and INC Research. Backed by years of professional experience, he excels as president of Caritas Clinical, which provides clinical research management, monitoring, and other services for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Additionally, Mr. Fromm is the president of C-Clinical, an international clinical research functional service provider reaching the United States, Canada, Latin America, and the European Union. He is also a founding partner in padhoster.com servicing the San Diego area with furnished mid-term rentals.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Fromm aligns himself with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and the University of California, Los Angeles. In conjunction with his professional endeavors, he dedicates himself to his community through volunteer board positions with Unity 4 Orphans as chairman, La Jolla Christian Fellowship as an emeritus chairman, and formerly with Iaomai Medical Ministries serving the underserved with advanced medical care in Jamaica and Guatemala for 7 years. He also previously worked and volunteered with The Rock Church, North Coast Presbyterian Church (now Redeemer), Invisible Children at UCLA and other non-profit endeavors including several ministry-oriented rock and worship bands. His work has significantly impacted these organizations and the communities they serve.
While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in his ability to positively impact the lives of others with faith, kindness, compassion, love, and empathy. Though hard work and dedication have kept his career on-path, he credits all success to faith in God, with endless hours of wisdom from father, Pastor Robert Fromm, Uncle Dr. Chuck Fromm, Great Uncle Chuck Smith founder of Calvary Chapel, and his grandfather, Arthur Altnow, who during the Great Depression established what became one of California's largest family-run trucking operations in the 1960s. Other mentors who impacted were his high school English teacher, Jamie Ferriera, Robin Jimenez, his first clinical research manager, and Aidan Nuttal, Janice Kehl, and Beth Kelsey. Looking ahead, Mr. Fromm intends to create a comfortable working environment for his employees and a fulfilling home life for his family. His ultimate goal is to spread the message of God's love and inspire those around him.
