Mr. Gebhardt's career at FEMA began in 2015 when he joined AmeriCorps as a FEMA corps member and assistant team leader. From 2016 to 2021, he served as a recovery coordination specialist and senior advisor within FEMA's Interagency Recovery Coordination cadre. He subsequently transitioned to the role of IA program analyst and lead for the IA emergency notification system and continuity of operations planning from 2021 to 2022. Prior to his distinct tenure at FEMA, Mr. Gebhardt worked as a foreman at Green Wave Gardens from 2012 to 2015.

Exceptional training and deep experience further shape Mr. Gebhardt's credentials. He completed college coursework and earned several certifications from LinkedIn, including how to be a good mentee and mentor, build a diverse professional network, develop coaching skills for leaders, develop an executive presence, and support employees' well-being.
