Mr. Baker's career reached a pinnacle during his tenure at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage from 2014 to 2017. He was recognized as a top performer among between 50 and 70 loan officers and originating managers in Philadelphia, consistently ranking in the top five for volume and number of units closed. This achievement marked a significant milestone in his career as he transitioned from credit card collections to helping people achieve homeownership. Mr. Baker also garnered excellence at various other institutions, including positions such as senior loan officer at Mortgage Now Inc., Vantage Point Bank and Financial Services and Meridian Bank, dating back to the mid-1980s.

Mr. Baker's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Kogod School of Business, American University in 1983. He is a graduate of Avon Old Farms School, a preparatory school in Avon, CT in 1976. He also completed several courses in financial statement analysis, Omega Cash Flow Analysis and Formal Credit Lending education.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Baker is actively involved in various civic organizations. He served two terms as a president of a Kennett Square Rotary and eight years as an ambassador and membership committee member for a local chamber of commerce. His commitment to community service is further demonstrated through his volunteer work with the Kennett Area Community Services, a local food cupboard, and his former role on the board of advisors for the Brandywine Valley YMCA from 2012 to 2015.
