Ms. Floret's academic background laid the foundation for her successful career. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in French language and literature from Washington University in St. Louis in 1961. Her passion for art led her to obtain a three-year certificate in sculpture from the National Academy School of Fine Arts. Additionally, she holds a Missouri French Teaching Certificate from Washington University at St. Louis, which reflects her commitment to education and cultural exchange.

Throughout her career, Ms. Floret has been recognized for her artistic achievements and contributions to the art community. She has received numerous awards, including the Audubon Artist Award in 2024 and the Gilbert and Marion Roller Sculpture Award during the Allied Artists of America 106th Annual Exhibition in 2019. Her work has been featured in prestigious exhibitions, such as the Audubon Artists Annual Exhibition, the Allied Artists of America Annual Exhibitions, the National Sculpture Society, the International Center of Photography and the United Nations Exhibitions.

Ms. Floret's involvement extends beyond her professional accomplishments. She is an honorary member and board member of Audubon Artists Inc. and holds memberships with various esteemed organizations, such as Pen and Brush, the Allied Artists of America, the American Society of Media Photographers, the National Sculpture Society and the Society of North American Goldsmiths. Born in Paris, France, Ms. Floret's personal life is enriched by her love for music. She plays both the guitar and piano, enjoying country music on the guitar and classical music on the piano. In the upcoming years, she plans to return to painting, sculpture and drawing while organizing her archives to share her experiences and photographs with others.
