WHEATON, IL, April 17, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lance Anthony Rock has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all considered during the selection process.

Mr. Rock is a distinguished leader in advanced energy heat transfer, HVAC optimization, and reducing operational utility costs associated with HVAC systems. Together with Professor Robert Clark, PhD, of the College of DuPage—a renowned expert in building sciences—he rigorously tests every theory and performance aspect of optimal heat transfer in HVAC systems. As the principal owner of Auditmaster Pro since 2021, he has been at the forefront of developing innovative software solutions for managing energy processes in buildings. His work has consistently achieved a remarkable 35% to 60% reduction in utility costs, significantly lowering building carbon footprints. This success is rooted in his nearly 40 years of business ownership and broad expertise in the industry.

Mr. Rock's decorated career began with an apprenticeship at Admiral Heating & Vent from 1984 to 1985, during which he honed his skills in HVAC systems. He then joined Johnson Controls—focusing on their building HVAC performance contracting services—where he worked until 1989 before establishing his own business, United Testing and Balancing, which he led until 2013. During this time, he became renowned for significant accomplishments in certifying nuclear facilities and published influential papers on topics such as tuberculosis and Ebola.

In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Mr. Rock has been an adjunct professor at Triton College since 2019 and at the College of DuPage since 2016, imparting his knowledge of energy conservation, testing, and balancing techniques. His academic contributions are complemented by his role as an energy conservation engineer at United Building and Energy Services, where he served from 2013 to 2021.

Mr. Rock's dedication to advancing the field is evident through his numerous patents related to measuring HVAC efficiency—including those granted by the United States Patent Office between 2016 and 2019—and has been spotlighted in prominent publications such as Chief Engineer Magazine and Distributed Energy Magazine. As a member of the Associated Air Balance Council and the Association of Energy Engineers, he continues to influence industry standards and practices while staying aware of the latest developments.

Before venturing onto his vocational path, Mr. Rock earned an associate's degree in heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration engineering technology from the University of South Dakota in 1983 and completed machining coursework at Illinois State University in 1984. To augment his knowledge and qualifications, he holds certifications through the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE)—including Carbon Reduction Manager (CRM)/Carbon Auditing Professional (CAP), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and Certified Energy Auditor (CEA)—and is also certified as a commissioning authority (CxA) by ACG, and a certified Test and Balance Engineer (TBE) by the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC), among others.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Rock is deeply committed to charitable work, particularly within church communities where he has been recognized for his contributions. A prolific writer, he has co-authored several white papers on HVAC operational performance analysis and aerobiological distribution with esteemed colleagues like Dr. Charles Tolle, Lance Weaver, and Bernt Askildson.

Born in Chicago, Mr. Rock is happily married and a proud father of five children. In his personal life, he enjoys machining in his garage workshop. Driven by his aspiration to earn the Nobel Peace Prize, he intends to leave a lasting legacy by combating global climate change through reduced carbon footprints and enhanced energy efficiency in buildings worldwide. Through his patents and software, he has developed a methodology that enables buildings to cut their carbon emissions by more than 50%, aligning with the 2050 net-zero carbon initiative and its stringent requirements for carbon-shedding.
