MARCO ISLAND, FL, April 21, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anthony Angelo Daffner-Milos, DPT, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Daffner-Milos is a distinguished physical therapist who has accumulated over two decades of experience since entering the field in 2001 as a volunteer at Marian Manor in New Jersey. As the owner of A.D.M. Doctor of Physical Therapy LLC, he has pioneered a mobile concierge physical therapy service that offers personalized care directly to clients at their locations. This innovative approach allows him to bypass insurance limitations and provide comprehensive services tailored to individual needs. He manages all aspects of his business, from scheduling and treatment to marketing and networking, ensuring a direct and personal connection with his clients.

Dr. Daffner-Milos began his career as a rehabilitation technician at Healthsouth Rehabilitation in 2005, where he gained valuable experience in managing diverse patient conditions, particularly in geriatric, neurological, orthopedic, cardiopulmonary and amputee rehabilitation. He transitioned to a physiotherapist role within the same organization in 2009, further honing his clinical skills until 2014. His dedication to patient care led him to positions at Shore Rehabilitation Institute from 2011 to 2020, where he continued to refine his expertise with a particularly stellar and unparalleled comprehensive medical team.

Dr. Daffner-Milos also served as a physiotherapist for the Naples Community Hospital Healthcare System, Therapy Management Corporation, Collins Physical Therapy Institute, NEXT Therapy Solutions, FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers, and Discovery at Home LLC, in some capacity, from 2015 to 2024. His commitment to excellence is further demonstrated in his membership in the American Physical Therapy Association.

Throughout his career, Dr. Daffner-Milos has seen a drastic change in healthcare, where the focus has shifted from patient-centered care to financial objectives. This observation motivated him to pursue an independent practice focused on accessible and patient-centered care. His extensive experience culminated in the establishment of his practice in February 2023, where he continues to make a positive impact on the community by offering specialized services that address unique client needs.

Dr. Daffner-Milos's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Stockton University in 2005, followed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the same institution in 2009. He further enhanced his expertise through an orthopedic physical therapy residency program at The McKenzie USA Branch in 2021. His commitment to continuous learning is evident through numerous certifications, including board certifications in Geriatrics, Neurology and Orthopedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Additionally, he was awarded a Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Dip. MDT) by McKenzie Institute International in 2024.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Daffner-Milos was actively involved in civic responsibilities with the Special Olympics Organization for over 15 years, initially serving as a tennis coach and in other miscellaneous roles, later became a clinical director of FUNFitness Screenings for Special Olympics Healthy Athletes® up until 2020. Dr. DaffnerMilos was an active advocate for Operation Helmet, Inc to obtain proper head gear for our troops as well as leading various fundraisers, walk-a-thons and triathlons for various philanthropic causes. He attributes both his personal and professional success to his drive and desire for growth, particularly expanding his clinical expertise after seeing patients turned away from clinics due to unavailable specialties for vestibular rehabilitation or discharged from therapy services with scant options for continued therapy services after insurance utilization for those with complex medical histories.

Dr. Daffner-Milos has been recognized with several accolades and awards. He was honored as a Service and Safety Champion by Shore Rehabilitation Institute in 2016 and 2017 and received the Meridian Health Polaris Award for Spontaneous Acts of Service Excellence in 2016. In 2011, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital recognized him as Clinical MVP 1st Quarter and Employee of the Week. He received the Shannon Newberry Memorial Service Award in 2009, was included in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges in 2009 and was awarded a Distinguished Graduate Research Fellowship at Stockton University in 2008.

Over the years, Dr. Daffner-Milos has taken on numerous leadership roles, including his presidency of the Chemistry Society at Stockton University in 2004. At HealthSouth Rehabilitation, he was part of the wound care team from 2010 to 2012, served as a stroke education group facilitator in 2012, led the Green and Gold Teams from 2010 to 2012, mentored new staff members, facilitated the journal club and was the acting Saturday Supervisor while the supervisor was on leave. Additionally, in 2009, he was elected PT Class Representative for the DPT Class of 2009. These are just some examples of the experiences that demonstrate Dr. Daffner-Milos' leadership abilities.

In his personal life, Dr. Daffner-Milos enjoys spending time with family, walking, practicing Tai Chi and Qigong, going to the gym, and reading. Looking ahead professionally, he plans to establish a comprehensive wellness team comprising physiatrists, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, respiratory therapists, case managers, social workers, dietitians, nutritionists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, personal trainers and functional medicine practitioners. Recognizing the necessity of such a team for clients with complex conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)/Lou Gehrig's disease, he aims to create a physical location equipped with resources that cannot be easily transported to clients' homes to ensure that all patients receive the care they need.
