From 2005 to 2007, he was a project lead in development at Oracle, where he spearheaded various projects that contributed to the company's growth. He began his career at Tata Consultancy Services as a business associate from 2002 to 2003 and joined Covansys as an associate from 2003 to 2004, giving him valuable early experience in team management and project execution.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Thangappan is proud of filing a patent for a computer user interface including a data grid with a persistent display portion in 2011. Successfully issued in 2014, the patent is now utilized worldwide, underscoring his dedication to technological innovation. He was also recognized as a fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in India from 2014 to 2015, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and leadership development.

Before venturing onto his vocational path, Mr. Thangappan earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology, where he graduated in 2000. He completed his higher secondary education in science and mathematics at Carmel Higher Secondary School in Nagercoil in 1996.
