Before reaching his current role at Shape Manufacturing, Mr. Lukjan served as a sales team lead from 2018 to 2020. During this period, he honed his skills in sales management and team leadership, contributing significantly to the company's expansion efforts. Concurrently, he worked as an industrial engineering consultant from 2014 to 2020, where he applied his expertise in statistics and ergonomics to optimize Shape Manufacturing's development processes.

Mr. Lukjan's career began with roles that provided him with diverse industry experience. From 2015 to 2016, he was a manufacturing engineer at Special-Lite Inc. in Decatur, Michigan, where he gained valuable insights into engineering and production techniques. Prior to that, he worked as a temporary associate for the motor vehicle manufacturer DENSO, where he attained foundational experience in industrial engineering principals and their applications. His early exposure to the ductwork industry during high school and college laid the foundation for his deep-rooted connection to the field.

Along with the influence of his family, who encouraged his curious nature and personal growth, Mr. Lukjan's educational background has played a crucial role in his success. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University in 2018 and a bachelor's degree in industrial and entrepreneurial engineering from Western Michigan University in 2015.

To enhance his leadership skills and remain aware of the latest developments within his field, Mr. Lukjan has been actively involved in organizations such as the Institute of Industrial Engineers since 2014 and the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity (ATO), which recognized his dedication to excellence with the Otis Allen Glazebrook Award in 2013. His commitment to community service is equally evident through his fundraising work for Habitat for Humanity International from 2011 to 2015 and ongoing support for local women and children's shelters.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Lukjan enjoys growing giant pumpkins, fishing, operating a greenhouse and hiking with his wife. He is dedicated to maintaining a fulfilling family life while focusing on business growth and the health of his employees. His future plans include doubling the size of Shape Manufacturing and opening a second location while enhancing employee benefits and contributing positively to his community.
