Since stepping into this role in 2022, he has excelled in leading complex initiatives—the program Reducing Human Trafficking in Central America—a process that includes monitoring and controlling scope, meticulously reviewing schedules, communicating tasks across teams, overseeing the budget, including collaborating with finance and legal teams, IT integration, facilitating meetings, and conducting retrospectives to drive continuous improvement. Before that, he was a project manager at Tarrant County College from 2018 to 2019 and held a senior project manager role at Biz Intellis Inc. in 2017.

Mr. Nevels's career began at Cellular World Corporate Office, where he worked as a commission manager and data analyst from 2006 to 2015. He then transitioned to Origen Laboratories as a senior project manager from 2015 to 2016. His early career included a position as a customer service supervisor at Albertsons from 2002 to 2006.

Highly credentialed, Mr. Nevels holds a master's degree in divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, earned in 2007, and a bachelor's degree in speech communication and business from Sam Houston State University, earned in 2002. Additionally, he holds several certifications, including Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute and Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance D-A-CH e.V.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Nevels is actively involved with civic organizations such as the Pregnancy Help Center, where he has volunteered since 2016. He also volunteers at his church, Grace Church Aledo, in various positions. His passion for craft beer brewing has led him to collaborate with breweries on data-driven solutions, blending his personal interests with his professional skills.

Outside of his career, Mr. Nevels enjoys spending time with his wife and their five sons. He is passionate about entertainment as he appeared as an extra in shows like Landman Season 2 and plans to advance his project management career while exploring real estate opportunities with his wife. They aim to establish a real estate business focused on multifamily unit rentals as they consider retirement and generational wealth.
