Mr. Taylor is a distinguished architect and the principal owner of Taylor Design Studio. With a career spanning two decades, he has established himself as an expert in architecture, project management, interior design, 3D design, animation and visual design. He began his journey in technical support at Design Integrations Inc. from 2003 to 2005. He then transitioned to an intern architect role at CUH2A from 2005 until 2006, during which time he honed his foundational skills in architecture.

In 2006, Mr. Taylor joined TVS Design advancing to become a senior associate, a position he held until 2016. During this time, he contributed significantly to various high-profile projects and developed his expertise further. In 2016, he took on the role of architect at 5G Studio Collaborative for a year before moving to Gensler as a project architect from 2017 to 2018. His tenure at these firms allowed him to work on unique and bespoke projects that enriched his professional experience.

Between 2018 and 2022, Mr. Taylor served as an associate principal at TVS Design. This position marked a meaningful milestone in his career as he took on greater responsibilities and leadership roles within the firm. In 2022, he founded Taylor Design Studio, realizing his dream of owning a business. This achievement stands out as the highlight of his career, demonstrating his perseverance through challenges and adversity.

Laying the groundwork for Mr. Taylor's success in architecture was his educational background, inclusive of a Bachelor of Architecture from Southern Polytechnic State University, which he earned in 2006. He further enhanced his credentials with certifications from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards in 2011 and in Foundations of Hotel Planning from Cornell University in 2025.

Reflecting on his career, Mr. Taylor traces his dedication and hard work to the influence of his father and grandfather. Witnessing his father's resilience to hardship and starting his own business inspired Mr. Taylor to pursue entrepreneurship with determination and commitment. He also credits the late Tom Eubanks of T-Designs who laid the groundwork for his architectural education, as Mr. Taylor apprenticed with Mr. Eubanks during his junior and senior years in high school. He emphasizes that there are many opportunities and paths to create a legacy, believing in the notion that where there is a will, there is a way.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Taylor is actively involved in civic organizations such as the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce. He has also contributed to noteworthy projects like the Music City Center located in Nashville, TN, Cobo Center renovation located in Detroit, MI, Mercedes Benz Stadium and the Centennial Yards Development located in Atlanta, GA.

Looking ahead, Mr. Taylor is excited about the organic growth of his business and aims to build a small yet specialized architectural firm that collaborates with both small businesses and minority-owned firms.
