Prior to founding Sisterprising Women LLC, Dr. Fulton-Taylor spent 13 years as a supervisory investigator at the U.S. Department of Labor, where she enforced the Employee Retirement Income Security Act to ensure compliance by private-sector employers regarding employee benefit plans. Prior to her role as supervisory investigator, she also served as a senior investigator at the U.S. Department of Labor for ten years, a role that honed her skills in regulatory enforcement and investigations. Her dedication to ensuring fair labor practices has been a consistent theme throughout her career, reflecting her commitment to justice and equity in the workplace.

Dr. Fulton-Taylor's academic background has been instrumental in shaping her professional journey. She earned a doctorate in ministry with a unique focus on female leadership from United Lutheran Seminary in 2017, which provided her with insights into leadership dynamics and gender issues. Her master's degree in non-profit, public and organizational management from Eastern University in 2006 equipped her with the skills necessary for effective organizational leadership. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in banking and financial support services from Fox School of Business at Temple University, completed in 1991.

Faith and belief have been central to Dr. Fulton-Taylor's success, providing a foundation of resilience and purpose throughout her career. Raised in a household anchored in faith, she attributes her achievements to a personal relationship with the Creator, which has guided her through challenges often deemed insurmountable by societal standards.

Dr. Fulton-Taylor is also an accomplished author, having penned "The Lies We Were Told: From Foehood to Sisterhood," which explores themes of female empowerment and solidarity. Her contributions extend beyond literature; she was recognized with the Outstanding Volunteer Service Award by the Philadelphia Department of Prisons for her dedication to community service.

Dr. Fulton-Taylor has developed virtual learning platforms that connect the human condition with various current events, news articles, historical stories, and biblical narratives. These platforms aim to help women transform their challenges into opportunities and recognize their leadership potential in diverse situations.
