He also oversees tax planning and advisory services needed for clients in addition to reviewing tax returns prepared by the team, ensuring compliance with all necessary tax areas. Having begun his professional journey over a decade ago as a tax intern in Cleveland, Ohio with RSM US LLP in 2013, Mr. Trummer quickly advanced to become a tax associate for the firm from 2014 to 2015, followed by a senior tax associate until 2017. His dedication and skill led him to the position of tax supervisor between 2017 and 2019. During this time, he honed his skills in managing complex client needs and providing comprehensive tax solutions. In 2019, Mr. Trummer was promoted to tax manager, where he continued to excel until 2020 when he moved to Canfield, OH to be closer to family.

Recruited by HBK CPAs & Consultants in Youngstown as a senior manager, Mr. Trummer was influential as part of the tax advisory group until 2024. As part of his role, he assisted in coordinating the firm's national tax training processes including the intern program.

Mr. Trummer's academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting, magna cum laude, from Kent State University in 2013. His education laid the foundation for his successful career in accounting and finance. In 2015, Mr. Trummer also earned a certified public accountant designation from the Accountancy Board of Ohio, further solidifying his expertise in the field.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Trummer is actively involved in civic organizations. He serves as a board member for Junior Achievement of Eastern Ohio, focusing on financial literacy for children and young adults. Additionally, Mr. Trummer served on the benefit committee member at the Lake Erie Nature & Science Center.
