A seasoned professional with 15 years of experience in real estate and facilities management, Ms. Russell currently serves as the assistant vice president of real estate and facilities at Fortitude Re. In her role, she manages multilocation facilities and operations such as site builds, expansions, emergency management program implementation, budget management, and business continuity planning. She is also responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of each location to ensure seamless business operations. Additionally, she has developed company-wide initiatives aimed at promoting a green mentality and is acknowledged for supporting her staff in both their professional and personal growth.

Before joining Fortitude Re, Ms. Russell served a successful five-year tenure at CKE Restaurants Inc., a quick services food corporation that owns Hardee's and Carl's Jr. In 2022, she briefly held the position of real estate and asset portfolio manager of Hardee's after working as the corporate office and facilities manager at CKE's Restaurant Support Center from 2019 to 2022. She was the international franchise sales and development coordinator from 2017 to 2019, during which she oversaw sales administration operations and onboarded new franchisees.

Earlier in her vocational journey, Ms. Russell was the talent acquisition recruiting coordinator lead at Asurion from 2014 to 2015 and held the role of corporate office, facilities and project manager from 2012 to 2014. Her diverse career includes six years as a senior administrative professional, project manager and course facilitator at the Georgia Institute of Technology and four years as the owner of Russell Consulting, where she provided executive level consulting services and prepared reports for clients and nurtured vendor relationships. Dedicated to empowering independent businesses, she is also member of the Women's Foodservice Foundation and the National Association for Professional Women.

Academically, Ms. Russell earned an Associate of Science in business administration and management from the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) School of Business in 1991. To further enhance her credentials, she was certified as a manager, supervisor, financial manager and course lead by the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2011. Along with her education, she attributes much of her success to her mother's influence as a demanding taskmaster who instilled drive and resilience in her daughters.

Beyond her professional life, Ms. Russell is actively involved with civic-minded organizations such as Fortitude Re 4 Good and served as a volunteer lead for Robocup at Georgia Institute of Technology's College of Computing in 2007. A proud mother of one daughter, she enjoys traveling and engaging with the arts during her personal time. Looking to the future with optimism, she hopes to spend more time at the beach and is considering launching another business venture.
