Ms. Fitzgerald's career began with roles that laid a strong foundation for her future endeavors. From 1998 to 2000, she was an audit and business advisory senior at Arthur Andersen & Co. after working as an accounts receivable manager at Tuff Shed Inc. in 2000 and as a benefits assistant at Kinder Morgan Inc. from 1995 to 1997. Her early career also included positions at the University of Wyoming, where she worked in facilities maintenance and as a transcripts assistant while also participating on the dance team.

In addition to her role at Sun Valley Community Church, Ms. Fitzgerald is the founder and chief executive officer of Bighorn Business Services LLC, established in 2022. Her involvement with Bighorn Properties LLC as a rental real estate limited partner from 2005 to 2010 further highlights her diverse professional background.

Ms. Fitzgerald's academic achievements have played a crucial role in her success. She earned a Master of Science in accounting from Liberty University in 2018 and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Colorado Denver in 1997. Additionally, she holds the certified nonprofit accounting professional designation from Nonprofit CPAs, obtained in 2023.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Fitzgerald is actively involved in civic organizations and community service. She has served as the finance chair for the Girls Volleyball Booster Club at Mesquite High School and held various roles at Sun Valley Community Church, including weekend family check-in volunteer and classroom teacher for two-year-olds. Her dedication to community engagement is further exemplified by her involvement with Mothers of Preschoolers and Beta Alpha Psi at the University of Colorado Denver.

In recognition of her achievements, Ms. Fitzgerald was named among the Who's Who Among American High School Students and received a nomination for the Omega Nu Lambda National Honor Society at Liberty University. In her personal life, Ms. Fitzgerald enjoys spending time with her son and daughter, playing sand volleyball, reading, exercising, hiking, biking, attending concerts and festivals and traveling.
