Mrs. O'Neill has dedicated over 35 years to the field of radiology and ultrasound, currently serving as the supervisor of radiology ultrasound at Mount Sinai West, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since 2016. In this role, Mrs. O'Neill manages a team of 10 staff members, oversees payroll, schedules, screens orders, scans patients and has helped pioneer projects involving artificial intelligence to streamline processes for doctors. Her expertise in ultrasound in radiology is widely recognized and appreciated in her industry.

Mrs. O'Neill's career began at Lutheran Medical Center in 1988, where she honed her skills as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (R.D.M.S.) until 1991. She then advanced to become the supervisor for her previous role at Park Avenue Radiologists P.C., a position she held from 1990 to 2010. Just prior to her current position, as a R.D.M.S. at Park West Radiology from 2010 to 2016. There she worked with Dr. Grace Yang a world renown pathologist and radiologist Dr. Albert Messina performing Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA) for immediate diagnosis to patients. Mrs. O'Neill managed schedules and a team of sonographers building up the ultrasound department.

Throughout her career, Mrs. O'Neill has been committed to enhancing patient care through accurate diagnoses and compassionate service. Serving to further her professional expertise, she has been a member of good standing in the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography since 2019.

Educationally, Mrs. O'Neill earned a bachelor's degree in diagnostic medical sonography with a minor in psychology from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1989. Her education laid the foundation for her success in the field, particularly her emphasis on the psychological aspects of ultrasound that uplift patients. She also holds several certifications as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in obstetrics, gynecology, breast and abdominal imaging.

Mrs. O'Neill's passion for ultrasound technology was sparked by her sister Roxannes' career in nuclear medicine, ultrasound and MRI, which she found fascinating during high school. Although she initially aspired to become a doctor, she chose to focus on diagnostics to balance her interests in ministry through singing and has traveled worldwide spreading the gospel. Throughout her career, her faith has been a guiding force, influencing her approach to attracting professionals and achieving success.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Mrs. O'Neill co-authored a significant publication titled "Cystic Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma in Fine Needle Aspiration May Represent A Subset of The Encapsulated Variant in WHO Classification," published in Diagnostic Cytopathology in 2009. This work has had a profound impact on the field and is one of her most significant achievements.

Outside of her career, Mrs. O'Neill is involved in ministry through her local church as a worship leader. She also enjoys being creative in all things from food to artwork in her free time and enjoys nature. In the upcoming years, she aims to make a meaningful impact on patient care by improving how ultrasound results are reported and handled with sensitivity. Her dedication to compassionately caring for others underscores her belief that each person matters and that such care can significantly change lives.
