He served as a senior manager in the asset management practice at KPMG US from 2016 to the end of 2022, after previously working as a senior audit manager at KPMG British Virgin Islands from 2015 to 2016 and as an audit manager the preceding year. His career began at KPMG in Pakistan, where he advanced from an audit trainee in 2002 to junior auditor and eventually audit-in-charge by 2006. He later progressed to roles at KPMG in the Cayman Islands, climbing from senior accountant to audit manager between 2007 and 2013. These experiences solidified his expertise in auditing and his ability to adapt to global financial environments.

Mr. Anwar's dedication to professional development is evident through his pursuit of advanced certifications. He is currently working toward obtaining his Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification from the Corporate Finance Institute, demonstrating his continuous pursuit of knowledge and growth. Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Anwar is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of finance professionals. Throughout his career, particularly at KPMG, he played an active role in people development and guiding others toward success.

Education has played a foundational role in Mr. Anwar's success. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science from the University of Peshawar in 2004. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the United States—a credential he is particularly proud of achieving while managing the challenges of relocating to the U.S. in 2016, balancing work and study, and raising a family with two young children during that time.

Outside of work, Mr. Anwar enjoys playing musical instruments, including the guitar, piano, and drums.
