Recognizing her leadership potential, the CEO appointed her as an assisted living coordinator at another MorningStar location. In 2010, she served as interim executive director at Dayton Place, a role that helped set the stage for her continued success.

In 2012, Ms. Motz-Fleshman became the executive director at Cranbrook Senior Living, where she further developed her leadership skills. The following year, she launched her own community in Colorado Springs, serving as executive director for four years. Under her leadership, the community achieved outstanding success, earning prestigious awards such as Home of the Year, Best of Senior Housing, and Executive Director of the Year for multiple consecutive years. The facility also received the highest satisfaction scores in the industry from residents, families, and staff.

Ms. Motz-Fleshman holds a bachelor's degree in human development and family studies, with a focus on gerontology, from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, completed in 2009. She has also pursued further education in public speaking and brand-building (2024-2025), which has enhanced her leadership skills and ability to impact teams and programs.

An extremely skilled motivational and inspirational speaker, Ms. Motz-Fleshman is frequently invited to speak to both small and large audiences, within and outside the company, where she shares her passion for leadership, service, and personal growth. Having grown up participating in mission trips, Ms. Motz-Fleshman remains deeply committed to civic-minded organizations.
