She also served as an independent journalist for the YouTube channel "What's Happening in These Streets," and international press agent. She was also a residential advisor at St. Jude Recover Center from 2012 to 2013 and a behavioral health residential case manager for the Dekalb Community Service Board from 2015 to 2017, she gained valuable experience in counseling residents and promoting programs that address harm reduction, substance abuse and health education.

In her personal life, Ms. Felts was born in Atlanta and enjoys interviewing community figures such as music artists, promoters and politicians.
