Prior to stepping into his current position, Mr. Dennis served as the revenue cycle manager at ARH Behavioral Health Group from 2021 to 2023. During that time, he honed his skills in commercial and Medicaid billing, becoming an expert in these areas. His dedication to understanding complex billing systems and ensuring efficient operations has been a hallmark of his career.

Before joining ARH Behavioral Health Group, Mr. Dennis was the outpatient float pool manager at OSU Physicians from 2019 to 2021 after initially beginning his career as a lead patient account representative at the same practice from 2011 to 2015. This foundational role provided him with valuable insights into patient account management and laid the groundwork for his future success in revenue cycle management. When he returned to OSU Physicians in 2019, as the outpatient float pool manager, he managed various operational aspects and contributed to the smooth functioning of the organization.

All in all, Mr. Dennis' ability to adapt to different roles and responsibilities showcased his versatility and commitment to excellence. During his two tenures at OSU Physicians, he also gained experience working as a registration supervisor at the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center between 2015 and 2019. In that role, Mr. Dennis was instrumental in streamlining registration processes and enhancing patient experiences, and his skills were evident as he guided his team toward achieving organizational goals.

Academically, Mr. Dennis earned a Bachelor of Science in health administration management from DeVry University in 2019 and an Associate of Science in health information technology from the same institution in 2016. Together, these degrees have been pivotal in equipping him with the knowledge and skills necessary for his professional accomplishments. Originally coming from a banking background, Mr. Dennis was inspired by his roommate, who spoke highly of her job and those she worked with, to transition into a new field, one where he could leverage his current skill set and learn new skills.

In embracing a new career, Mr. Dennis fell in love with it and now, nearly 15 years later, he is still in the same field. From his experience, he encourages others who are not happy in their career to explore a new path and the other opportunities out there. Driven by determination and self-motivation, Mr. Dennis attributes his success to his love for challenges and pride in overcoming tasks he has never attempted before; he values personal satisfaction over external recognition, finding fulfillment in knowing that he has persevered through struggles to achieve his goals independently.
