From childhood, Matthew M. Porcelli felt called to protect and serve others. This calling led him to pursue a career in law enforcement, and he studied criminal justice at Caldwell University. After graduating with a BA in criminal justice in 2007, he began volunteering as an auxiliary police lieutenant for the Roseland Police Department, assisting with various law enforcement responsibilities. Additionally, Mr. Porcelli served as a police and 911 dispatcher with the Maplewood Police Department in the same county.
