Mr. Day is a distinguished advocate for small businesses, serving as the chief executive officer of For Small Business Only, LLC in the Washington D.C. Metro Area since 2013. With a focus on helping small businesses establish and build viable and sustainable credit, Mr. Day has been instrumental in educating entrepreneurs on the complexities of business credit and the powerful benefits it offers. His expertise in business credit and legal analysis has made him a sought-after consultant and trainer, assisting business owners in enhancing their brand visibility and growth. Additionally, he is a member of the National Small Business Association, further solidifying his commitment to supporting small enterprises.

Before founding For Small Business Only, LLC, Mr. Day was recognized as Tampa Bay's newest and most engaging consumer advocate and made it his mission to impart business skills, banking knowledge and negotiation tactics to the public. Concurrently, he hosted and produced The Legally Steal Show, Inc., a platform that allowed him to share insights on financial literacy and consumer advocacy from 2009 to 2015 in Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida area. During this time, he wrote two books on negotiation skills within the car deal industry, teaching clients effective purchasing strategies and partnered with major credit unions to enhance his reputation in the field and teach credit union members how to save money when purchasing a vehicle. Mr. Day's career includes his role as a developer with SEDA Development Corporation from 2005 to 2010. He was actively involved in real estate development until the housing market crash of 2008, which prompted him to reevaluate his business strategies.

His earlier experience as a military police officer in the U.S. Army from 1990 to 1995 provided him with foundational skills in leadership and discipline that have been integral to his professional journey. In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Day has made significant contributions to education by creating the collegiate course, Small Business Credit Procedures© and the Small Business Credit Survival Boot Camp©, aimed at educating entrepreneurs enrolled in entrepreneurial programs at major universities and colleges and current business owners growing their companies. He currently hosts the FBSO Podcast's the Small Business Credit Minute w/ S.E. Day.

His academic background includes a Master of Science in law from Francis King Carey School of Law at the University of Maryland, an associate degree in public affairs administration from Defense Information School, which he earned in 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Mr. Day studied at Southern New Hampshire University and is a practitioner in community economic development. He also holds a POST certification in law enforcement from GPSTC and is a certified financial education instructor. Mr. Day's civic involvement is extensive.

He has served as a board member for the Manassas Board of Equalizations since 2019. He partners with corporations and nonprofits to provide valuable content about financial management to small business owners. His accolades include the Commander's Award for Civilian Service and the Army Achievement Medal for Civilians from the U.S. Army in 2016, and being recognized as one of "Who's Who in Atlanta" during the early 2000s. Beyond his career achievements, Mr. Day is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship among future generations. He envisions building a coalition of business educators to work with small businesses and universities offering entrepreneurship programs. His long-term aspirations include establishing a financial technology bank exclusively for small businesses and creating a company model that supports business growth while contributing to educational institutions through profit-sharing initiatives. Mr. Day's personal life is enriched by his role as a father to three children. Inspired by his mother's entrepreneurial spirit during his upbringing, he continues to drive forward with innovative ideas to empower small businesses and contribute nationally and globally to the economy.
