Since 2016, Ms. Price has served as the safety program director. Through her leadership, she has successfully guided over 100 students through four-year apprenticeships, overseeing the completion of more than 9,500 projects.
In addition to her work with CI Woodworkers of America, Ms. Price is the chief financial officer, safety director and owner of Custom Installers of Colorado LLC, a finish carpentry installation business in Windsor, Colorado. Since 1985, she has managed the company's financial operations, including bookkeeping and tax assessments. Ms. Price's strategic foresight allows her to determine product longevity and oversee company direction while ensuring quality and safety at job sites.
Ms. Price's career is marked by her advocacy for small businesses during challenging economic times. During the Great Recession, she conducted research and provided courtroom testimony against several financial institutions in Salida, Colorado, highlighting the economic hardships faced by small business owners due to bank closures. Ms. Price's efforts extended to authoring a proposal to U.S. Congress advocating for income tax reforms to better protect small businesses during downturns.
Highly educated, Ms. Price received a an Associate of Applied Science in Hospitality Service Management from Denver Institute of Technology in 1992, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Anderson College of Business and Computing at Regis University in 2005, a Master of Business Administration in finance and financial management services from Regis University in 2009 and a Master of Business Administration in small business management with a minor in financial management from Westwood College, Denver North, in 2015. These educational achievements have equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary for her roles in business management and financial oversight.
Ms. Price's professional journey is further distinguished by her membership in several industry-related organizations. She is an active member of the leadership council, environmental committee, economic committee and tax committee within the National Small Business Association since 2008. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Price is actively involved with civic-minded organizations, such as the American National Red Cross.
Ms. Price's contributions earned her recognition with a Life Member Order of Merit signed by President Donald J. Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance in 2025. Earlier, she was recognized on the President's List of Honors at Westwood College, Denver North, in 2009 and received a Peer Award for "Helping Other Students" from Denver Institute of Technology.
Throughout her career, Ms. Price has been guided by values such as open-mindedness, forgiveness, and attentive listening.
