ATLANTA, GA, June 09, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bih Bikelle, MD, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Bikelle is a distinguished psychiatrist, mentor, author and speaker with a profound commitment to mental health advocacy and education. With over a decade of experience in her field, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals navigate emotional difficulties. Her expertise is reflected in her roles at PMHNP Mentorship, where she has been providing virtual mentorship since 2016, and as the medical director at Right Path Behavioral Health since 2018. Her work extends outside her primary roles as a consult liaison psychiatrist at Northside Medical Center, a position she began in 2023.

Dr. Bikelle's career journey includes significant contributions to various institutions. From 2016 to 2023, she served as an outpatient psychiatrist at Bellevue Behavioral Solutions Inc. while concurrently honing her skills as an inpatient psychiatrist at Wekiva Springs Center from 2015 to 2021. In 2017, she briefly worked as an addiction medicine psychiatrist at The Recovery Village and gained valuable experience as a correctional psychiatrist at Correctional UCI for the preceding two years.

Dedicated to furthering her work and her field, Dr. Bikelle is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Her career achievements have been recognized with various awards, such as the Distinguished Fellow Status at the APA Annual Convention in Atlanta in 2015 and a Certificate of Appreciation from Brain Trust Fund Africa in 2007.

Dr. Bikelle's educational background laid a strong foundation for her successful career, earning a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Yaounde, Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, in Cameroon in 2007. Pursuing further specialization, she completed both an internship and a psychiatry residency at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, graduating in 2010 and 2013 respectively. She is licensed to practice across Florida, Virginia, California, Georgia and Nevada.

Dr. Bikelle first became interested in psychiatry while growing up in Cameroon, Africa. When her father, the sole breadwinner for the family, passed away from illness, she and her siblings faced numerous challenges. Upon coming to the United States, Dr. Bikelle continued to face issues, exacerbated by her accent. Although she is proud of overcoming these struggles, she wanted to give others a space to process emotions and difficulties, leading her to a career in mental wellness.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Bikelle is deeply committed to civic engagement and education. She teaches nurse practitioners pro bono, sharing her knowledge and experience with future health care professionals. Her personal journey from Africa to a new country has instilled in her resilience and self-confidence, qualities she hopes to impart through her mentorship and her upcoming book, "Confidence Equals Power," set for release in 2025.
In addition, Dr. Bikelle is currently in the process of establishing the Bikelle Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, offering counseling services and supporting widows and orphans. Although the foundation is presently operating in a primarily virtual capacity, it embodies her unwavering commitment to supporting individuals during their most vulnerable times and addressing critical mental health needs in underserved communities.

In her personal life, Dr. Bikelle balances her professional responsibilities and her family role. She enjoys traveling, dining out and shopping during her leisure time. Looking ahead, she aims to expand her teaching initiatives by developing a comprehensive program for nurse practitioner students and creating an academy with accessible audio lessons for professionals. Her passion for mental health advocacy drives her desire to travel more extensively, spreading awareness about mental health issues globally while empowering individuals and professionals alike through education and support initiatives.
